Bellin’s BabyU program for parents-in-waiting is Jan. 20

GREEN BAY — Bellin Health will host a BabyU event for expecting parents and guests on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Bellin Hospital, 744 S. Webster Ave.
The event will be held on the hospital’s third floor in the Kresge Center – just beyond the cafeteria – and is scheduled to take place from 6-8:30 p.m. Participants will gather in the hospital lobby before heading to the Kresge Center.

“BabyU is specifically designed to help expecting parents become better informed as to what they can expect as parents-in-waiting,” said Donna Zelazoski, operational team leader, Bellin Health Kress Birthing Center. “There is definitely going to be something to learn for any expecting parent.”

A presentation on car seat safety will be featured along with sessions on prenatal and postnatal care, preparing for fatherhood and a new parent question and answer session with doctors who specialize in caring for babies.

The program also will feature prizes for dads, a tour of the Kress Birthing Center, educational displays, baby product vendors, physician providers of infant care and a breastfeeding education team, among other things.
