OCONTO — The Bellin Foundation recently received on behalf of Bellin Health a financial donation from ST Paper. The donation will benefit Bellin’s plans to expand the Oconto Hospital & Medical Center.
“ST Paper’s generosity is greatly valued and appreciated by all of us at Bellin Health,” said Michael Frohna, president, The Bellin Foundation. “This donation will go a long way toward helping us complete our Oconto Hospital & Medical Center expansion which in turn will enable us to provide enhanced health care services to the Oconto community and beyond.”
Sahil Tak, vice president, ST Paper, said his company relished the opportunity to support Bellin’s expansion project at Oconto Hospital & Medical Center.
“We feel fortunate to be in a position to contribute to the local economy and help foster the overall improved health of our community and neighboring areas,” he said. “Partners such as Bellin Health are a natural fit because they have been working to improve the collective health of Northeast Wisconsin for more than 100 years.
“Our contribution to the hospital in Oconto will enable Bellin to enhance the scope and quality of care in this region,” Tak said. “It is part of our larger plan to help improve the quality of life in Oconto, Oconto Falls and the neighboring communities.”
