GREEN BAY – Dr. Kevin Greer, a general and cardiothoracic surgeon, recently was selected as the new medical director for the Wound Healing Center at Bellin Health.
The Wound Healing Center, 744 S. Webster Ave., specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds and non-responsive conditions and offers hospital-based outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
“Dr. Greer has been a valued member of the physician panel for the wound center since it opened in May, 2010,” said Andrea Werner, vice president, Heart & Vascular Center. “He has been a committed member of the Bellin Health medical staff for the past 10 years and has thoroughly demonstrated his leadership skills. We look forward to further utilizing Dr. Greer’s expertise and leadership at the Wound Healing Center.”
Established in partnership with National Healing Corporation, one of the nation's largest wound care management companies, the Wound Healing Center offers hospital-based outpatient wound care, as well as disease management and diabetes care.
The Wound Healing Center offers highly specialized treatments, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, bio-engineered tissues, biological and biosynthetic dressings, and growth factor therapies.
