Bond Center to Host Pelvic Health Event
‘Life & Leaks’ session to focus on urinary incontinence
Bellin Health will continue its new pelvic health series with a free session on urinary incontinence. The next “Life & Leaks” event will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25 at the Bellin Health Bond Community Center, 1201 Park Ave., Oconto.
Katherine Reinke, BSN, RN, and Jeanette Knill, physical therapist, will present during the sessions, which will focus on what women can do about the often-embarrassing problem of incontinence. The goal is to address the topic directly and remove some of the stigma of this common problem. Reinke and Knill are care team members at the Bellin Health Pelvic Center.
Attendees who are interested in reviewing their individual Pelvic Health Screening with a healthcare professional should complete an online screening questionnaire prior to the event. Upon arrival, they should stop at the registration desk to schedule a 5-minute screening session. This one-on-one consultation will take place immediately after the main presentation.
Light refreshments will be served at the event. Registration is available by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (920) 834-5585.
A future pelvic health series session will be held at Bellin’s clinic in Sturgeon Bay. Details will be announced at a later date.
