Bellin Health Acquires Women’s Specialty Care

Bellin Health has reached an agreement to purchase Women’s Specialty Care, a leading OB/GYN clinic with four locations in the region, effective immediately.

“Women’s Specialty Care is known for providing outstanding care to women in Northeast Wisconsin,” said George Kerwin, Bellin Health president and CEO. “This is a major development for our health system and one that will elevate the services we provide to women and expectant families through greater integration and care coordination.”

Under the agreement, Bellin Health acquired Women’s Specialty Care’s four locations – two in Green Bay, one in Appleton and one in Marinette. Clinic operations will continue uninterrupted, with no inconvenience for patients of the clinics.

Established in 2002 by Drs. Herbert Coussons and Michael O’Toole, Women’s Specialty Care has grown to a team of 14 specialists, including Dr. Allahyar Jazayeri, who joined the practice in 2006. Women’s Specialty Care is known for providing high-quality care in the areas of obstetrics, midwifery, infertility, family planning, high risk pregnancy, gynecology, breast health, menopause services and robotic-assisted surgery.
