Special Care for Teens & Adolescents
The Bellin Health Adolescent Team provides teens and adolescents with a warm, welcoming place to share their healthcare needs, concerns and questions in a supportive environment.
Recognizing the unique needs of this group, the Bellin team sought to learn more and ultimately earned the Adolescent Centered Environment Gold Certification for its East De Pere, Marinette and Iron Mountain clinics. The designation, developed and facilitated by the University of Michigan’s Adolescent Health Initiative, includes a comprehensive improvement process designed to advance the delivery of care to adolescents.
Direct patient benefits include:
- Experienced caregivers in an adolescent-friendly environment
- Access to local, close-to-home care
- Quick access to other services such as Case Management, Physical Therapy, Nutrition and Behavioral Health
- Tailored adolescent services that meet community needs
Our adolescent patients also have access to some of the state’s best caregivers, thanks to a joint venture between Bellin Health, Children’s Wisconsin and ThedaCare. Together, they offer expanded resources, support and specialty care for children and adolescents across the region.
Patients may be referred to the Bellin Health Adolescent Team, located within the Bellin Health East DePere clinic, through their existing Bellin Health provider or via their MyBellinHealth account, or by contacting the clinic directly at (920) 338-6830.
Coming Soon!
Bellin Health is building a new pediatric and adolescent specialty care clinic in the village of Ashwaubenon. The new clinic will be constructed on land near the corner of Wisconsin 172 and Ashland Avenue. It will be the home for some of our pediatric primary care and psychiatric services, with specialty services provided by Children’s Wisconsin and Bellin Health experts. It will be staffed by a mix of new and existing providers from the health systems who see children and adolescents — Pediatricians, Family Practice Physicians and Specialists. The new building will be the future home of the Bellin Health Adolescent Team and a first in-the-area clinic that will offer a tailored approach to addressing the multifaceted healthcare needs of teens and adolescents. The clinic, expected to open in early 2024, will be operated through the partnership between Bellin, Children’s Wisconsin and ThedaCare to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents and bring specialty care closer to home for the families of Northeast Wisconsin.
