Symptoms

Early-stage prostate cancer causes no symptoms, but advanced prostate cancer can cause the following problems:

  • A slow or weak urinary stream or the need to urinate more often, especially at night
  • Blood in the urine
  • Trouble getting an erection
  • Pain in the hips, spine, ribs, or other bones
  • Weakness or numbness in the legs or feet
  • Loss of bladder or bowel control

It’s important to call your Bellin Health doctor if you have any of these symptoms.
