Conditions Treated

Conditions treated at Bellin Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit include:

  • Amputation, lower body
  • Orthopedic disability
    • Long bone fracture, including hip/femur
    • Joint replacement, including knee/hip*
      *Age 85 or greater; BMI 50 or greater.
  • Cerebral vascular accident (CVA), Stroke
  • Brain injury, traumatic and non-traumatic (Rancho Level 5 or higher)
  • Major multiple trauma
  • Neurological disorder
    • Multiple sclerosis
    • Parkinson’s disease
    • Polyneuropathy, including Guillain-Barre
    • others
  • Congenital deformity, e.g. CP
  • Spinal cord injury and dysfunction
  • Other complex medical issues as judged by rehabilitation physician
