Sports Physicals
Bellin Health offers Pre-Participation Exams (PPE) to all students in middle and high school as part of a requirement to participate in athletics. Students must have a PPE every two years and completed after April 1st annually. PPEs are performed in the clinic, high school, and clinic settings. Exams are performed by physicians, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, and licensed athletic trainers. The exam cost is $20.00 with 100% of the monies being donated back to the school district. Exams can be done anytime using the Fast Care system. As part as of PPEs in the clinical setting during the summer, a free electrocardiogram is also performed along with an orthopedic screening by a licensed athletic trainer.
