Heart Valve Clinic

Dr. Hudson is the champion of our heart valve clinic. Together with cardiac surgeons, Dr. Gerndt, Dr. Greer, Dr Setty, and Dr. Ricci they see patients together in a special clinic offering patients both a cardiology and cardiac surgery perspective on the best management of their cardiac condition. As of 2014, we are the only cardiac program in northeastern Wisconsin to offer transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) as an option for the treatment for severe aortic valve stenosis, the most common serious heart valve condition. We strive to identify patients with serious heart valve conditions and provide the optimal treatment through a combination of lifestyle modification, medical management and surgical management in order to reduce risk and maximally improve quality of life.
