Speech Therapy

Speech-language therapy is the treatment of disorders that affect a person’s speech, language, cognition, vocal or swallowing abilities. Speech-language pathologists address people’s speech production, vocal production, swallowing difficulties and language needs through speech therapy in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, outpatient centers and private practice clinics.

  • Evaluation/treatment related to speech and language dysfunction
  • Voice quality
  • Swallow studies (videofluoroscopy and bedside)
  • Cognitive retraining
  • Auditory comprehension
