Outcome surveys over the past 3 years have demonstrated over 98% satisfaction ratings and greater functional improvement in fewer visits than other therapy clinics, resulting in lower cost of care.

What is Spinal Rehabilitation?

Interventions used by our diverse team of orthopedic manual therapists consists of spinal mobilization and manipulation to restore joint mobility and ease pain, soft tissue mobilization, motor control re-education, strength and flexibility assessment and treatment with exercise emphasizing core stabilization training, Feldenkrais "Awareness Through Movement" concepts, and more.

Care is provided on an individual basis and focuses on resolving your current condition and improving your ability to prevent further injury as well as manage long standing chronic conditions more successfully.

Acute Low Back Pain Management

It is important that the right care be given early to a patient within 3 weeks of onset of low back pain. It is our goal to have the acute low back pain patient seen in physical therapy within 24 hours of their initial consult with the primary care provider. These patients can be seen by any therapist within the therapy department.

Acute management has been shown to significantly reduce medication use, number of doctor visits and missed time at work due to back pain.  There is also clear evidence from research and practical application that rapid access to appropriate physical therapy results in:

  • Higher patient satisfaction
  • Improved functional outcomes
  • Decreased pain
  • Less cost
  • Decrease in unnecessary imaging, labeling
  • Decrease in surgical rates
