Reason for Visiting Bellin Health Titletown: Knee pain
Goals: Have no pain with everyday activity
What motivated you to begin your journey with us?
I have had surgeries with Dr. McKenzie, and I was confident to continue my care with his team and the physical therapists at the Titletown location.
What obstacles did you have to overcome?
In the last seven years I have had five knee surgeries, and I got stem cell therapy two months ago. I have had countless physical therapy and doctor appointments with many ups and downs. Recently I have had a lot of ups.
What part did Bellin Movement Performance Lab play in helping you?
Physical therapy has helped me tremendously. Lisa Reinke and Mindy Benz have been extremely important to my recovery. I feel as though they went above and beyond to figure out what was wrong with my knees. Throughout my time there they have continued to be ahead of the game and always had state of the art equipment that enhanced my recovery. I cannot thank them enough for all their help.
How has your life changed?
I’m able to do every day activities with no pain, and I was able to hike for 5 months in New Zealand!
What advice would you give to help others?
Listen to the signs your body is telling you, and continue to work towards your goal because the solution can right around the corner. With help from the Titletown team, they won’t stop until they find something that will work for you. I can’t recommend them enough!
